Important notice regarding text messaging data: Decker Glass (“we,” “us,” or “our”) does not share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in and consent information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only exception is the service providers that deliver our text messages for us, as described in Section 3.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through deckerglass.com and our related customer communications, how we use it, and the choices you have.

3. Text (SMS) Messaging & Compliance

Two separate opt-ins. On our Contact Us form you may choose to receive either or both of the following. Each is optional, and neither is required to submit the form or to purchase anything from us.

Appointment and meeting messages (non-marketing): texts about meetings and appointments with Decker Glass, such as scheduling, confirmations, and reminders.
Marketing and promotional messages: texts about special offers, discounts, and new product updates.

Consent. We send text messages only after you have explicitly opted in by checking the relevant box on our Contact Us form. We keep timestamped records of each opt-in and consent. We do not send promotional text messages without your specific consent. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all other applicable laws.

Message frequency. Frequency varies.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages from us. You will receive one confirmation message, and then no further messages unless you opt in again. You can also opt out of marketing messages only by telling us you’d like to stop promotional texts.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most regional carriers.

Protection of text messaging data. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except the messaging platforms, aggregators, and carriers that deliver messages on our behalf, and only to deliver our messages.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it with:

Service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting, scheduling, payment processing, SMS aggregators, and messaging providers. They are required to keep your information confidential and use it only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety requests, when required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights.
A successor business, if Decker Glass is merged, acquired, or sold. Your information would remain subject to this policy.

All of the categories above exclude text messaging opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties, other than the messaging platforms, aggregators, and carriers that deliver our text messages on our behalf.

5. Log Files, Cookies, and Analytics

Like most websites, we collect log data and use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand traffic, and improve the site. We may use Google Analytics, which may collect data about your visit under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them. We do not control third-party cookies, and this policy does not cover other companies’ websites.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, stop text messages by replying STOP, and withdraw consent for future communications at any time. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable time, and no later than 45 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date, and we will give notice of material changes by email or a notice on our website.
